Namma Bengaluru geared up for a dose of fitness with the Cult 10k run
Bangalore, 15th May 2017: After the success of the first edition, Saturday morning at Kanteerava Stadium yet again witnessed a massive influx of fitness enthusiasts and runners from across Bangalore. Super-model, fitness enthusiast & avid barefoot runner Milind Soman flagged off the second edition of the Cult 10K run. Cure.fit co-founders, Mukesh Bansal & Ankit Nagori also participated in the 10k run.
The daystarted with registered runners warming up, followed by foot tapping highenergy Zumba session with cult.fit celebrity trainer and Master Trainer ofZumba Fitness India, Shwetambari Shetty.
Speakingabout the Cult 10k run, Milind Soman said, “It is always great to be doing what I love andit’s even more exciting to be associated with Cult 10k again. I truly believerunning is more than an exercise. Besides the obvious physical benefits ofincreasing stamina, running helps to build confidence and inculcates a sense offreedom. The runconcluded at 8.00 am in the heart of the city - CubbonPark. Each participant got a cult.fit t-shirt and a goodie bag, with medals forall the finishers. The first prize winners at the 10k run category was awardedRs. 50,000 followed by Rs. 25,000 for second place and Rs. 10,000 for the thirdplace. In the 5k run category, winners bagged the first prize of Rs. 30,000,Rs. 20,000 for second place and Rs. 10000 for third place.
