92.7 BIG FM ANNOUNCES THE BANGALORE FINALIST OF BIG GOLDEN VOICE JUNIOR SEASON 1

Bangalore, 17th June 2017: After attaining enormous success in the 4 seasons of the on-air singing reality show, BIG Golden Voice, BIG FM, India’s No.1 and largest radio network this year, introduced the platform for young kids. Aptly titled ‘BIG Golden Voice Junior’, season 1 witnessed participation from aspiring singers under the age of 14 years. This one-of-a-kind radio based talent hunt for kids announced Shreya Rao as the Bangalore finalist from a gamut of participants.

With the launch of their new property BIGGolden Voice junior, the radio network is offering an excellentplatform to kids to showcase their singing talent. Much to the delight of theparticipants, the Indian playback singer Anuradha Bhat servedas the celebrity judge and also mentored the kids. She refined theirtechnicalities in singing with the focus on pitch and tone. The 13-year-oldShreya Rao was adjudged as the city winner after a tough competitionamong a plethora of young and mesmerizing voices. She will now compete with 40finalists for the coveted title of the first ever ‘BIG Golden VoiceJunior’ and earn a golden opportunity to sing for aBollywood film. 

An overjoyed Shreya said, “Mymother’s friends motivated and suggested to send my voice sample to participateand I cleared the audition round. After having gone through a couple ofrigorous selection stages, I have finally reached this level. I am very happy.This win has come as wonderful surprise to me. I never expected to winbecause the competitors were also very good. My parents are very happy for mefor wining this award. All my friends and music teachers alsocongratulated me for the win.” 

Speaking on her association with 92.7 BIG FM AnuradhaBhat said, “India is filled with immense talent and especiallyamong the young guns of the country. We wanted to build a platform to motivatethe kids and help them move further towards fulfilling their dreams. We are nowjust one step away from unearthing our title winner.
