18-year old Bengaluru boy cracks the Rubik’s Cube in 17.12 seconds!
Bengaluru, 7thJune 2017: 17.12 seconds- that’s how long it took the talented Mahesh Menon to solve this fascinating 3 x 3 combination puzzle! The second edition of Landmark, one of India’s leading leisure & entertainment retailer hosted the season’s biggest Rubik’s challenge across five major cities which started on 12th May 2017.
With 60participants in the finals, the challenge witnessed aggressive competition. Thefirst runner up was Rohan (15) who solved the puzzle in 17.60 seconds and thesecond runner up was Risabh (20) who solved the puzzle in 19.58 seconds. Thechallenge took place pan India namely, Forum Mall Bangalore,OrionMall Bangalore, Somajiguda Hyderabad, Inorbit Mall Vashi, SeasonsMall Pune, and Ampa Skywalk Chennai. With no agebar, anyone could walk in to register and participate. The winners weredeclared on 4th June 2017 and were awarded the prestigiousRubik’s Medallion, an exciting gift hamper from Funskool and a Certificate.
